“It’s Not That Deep” Is the first addition of Lucy’s ‘American Dream’ collection of screen-prints surrounding the theme of mental health issues. This particular print is a response to a personal experience of the artist reaching out for help from a friend whilst dealing with anorexia disorder and depression, where she was given the response of the title of this piece. the aim of this print is to ridicule the idea that mental health issues and emotions are not important, something the artist believed herself after being told this.
